ok so after getting my 45 on saturday and trying to use it today i have decided to do a restoration..
Today was a bit of a pain dealing with the kirby!!! first it wouldnt start so i cleaned the spark plug and away it went, I couldnt get the catcher to stay on then i couldnt get the motor to stop??? still dont know where the on off switch is!! then i went to start it again and i stuffed the pull start and cant get it to take the cable all the way back, i pulled it apart and its a mess!! and i have no idea where anything goes.
Even after the trouble with the Kirby i would still like to restor it but unsure what i need to comple an overhaul i would like to rebuild it from the ground up. if someone can point be in the direction for all the parts for the engine?
