Your machine is the later (twin rail engine deck design) so would have been manufactured sometime in the mid70's.
It has the Kirby Lauson (Tecumseh) engine that should have a model ID plate stuck to or riveted to the air cowling....it may be on the crankcase itself. This should give you the model of the engine..... but unlike Briggs and Stratton you can't date a Kirby by the engine code numbers. cry
Parts for these engines requires ordering from the USA, as parts here in Oz are rare.
