thanks for this post it will be very handy with my fleet of super 24's
my 600 seems gutless its a standard full crank i installed on a 24 body, have just tonight given it a hone and new rings decomp rebuild and a high comp head. has a real pop to it now.
the tensioner "cup" and washer set up was missing when i got the body have coned washers back to back under the nut. i wonder if i have the belt to tight ? i tend to check tension with my thumb like at work on fan belts .
