Don't feel bad these things happen.I also hope it's not broken but I'll be surprised if it's not it was one hell of a hit.The bolt that my thumb hit torn off the outer casing from the top part of the crankcase where the bolt goes through,and that was a direct hit on my thumb.So I dare say (but hope not) that it could be.Any way don't forget to have fun while doing the restore after all that why we do it.I'm a bit jealous really yours will be done before mine is.
