Hi Jeffrey, just for clarification, I put this machine as the 3rd version, you put it as 2nd....Jeffrey, this is how I rate them, please tell me where I am going wrong...
(1) 1st Model 5.....used original Model 4 base, 4 side skirt holes (2 on each side), edger slot, height adjuster extensions, (in other words a carry over from the Model 4 Standard, but with the Model 5 Special badge, using up the stock of parts that existed at the time.)
(2) 2nd Model 5....2 side skirt holes (right hand side only), edger slot, retained the height adjuster extensions.
(3) 3rd Model 5.....2 side skirt holes (right hand side only), edger slot,
no height adjuster extensions.(4) 4th Model 5.....No side skirt holes, no edger slot, no extensions.
Store brand....no Victa logo, different colour.(pseudo 5th Model)
Using my method, it places this machine as the 3rd version....Comments please, as this is how we learn new things here
