I can't give you any idea of its age until I see the pics, mate.
Can you please take some from different angles and a couple of the chain case with the cover removed and some close-ups of the sprockets where they are not covered by the chain....also can you please post the complete string of numbers stamped into the air cowling of the Briggs...this will give us the age of the engine and date of manufacture.
