Thanks for those pics Mick. I hadn't realised that there is a steel gear sector riveted onto the aluminium pedal, I had always thought the teeth were part of the aluminium casting.
I have the impression that is a sought-after item: one of the key parts needed in restoration, and one of the most frequently broken ones.
