hey Rodeobob thanks heaps for that mate, im a little closer than uranus im in melbourn too, i realise the part might be a bit costly but the motor was a freebi and its the first ohv ive worked on so i am pretty keen on getting it going even though i do agree with what you said about scraping it, as for the cam gear you recon you have what sort of talon starter are you after i have a few talon trimmers lying around and a talon chainsaw starter if thats what you need if i dont have what you need any chance buying the part off you send me a personal msg if you like cheers
