I tried that but to no avail....
Is it worth noting that I am full assembled apart from the cowl and starter pull handle and am testing holding the HT close to the head whilst spinning it up with a socket on the end of a cordless drill on the top nut of the flywheel? I read something somewhere about the "role the cowl played" but can't think how this could affect the spark?
Getting very confused now.
