Thanks for that Bruce. I now have the mower starting (although rather difficult to get going) and running. The needle was simply sitting in the fuel bowl rather than installed correctly!! Now that it is running, it sounds like it has an ignition fault, that being at high revs it misfires alot! I'm not sure if that is normal for a 2 stroke or not as I've never owned one. Either way I guess I'll rebuilt the carby and see what happens after that.
