Its flooding so i changed needle, changed cap and float nunerous times. finally i found a good combination of the three. I even did a bench test with a dissassembled carby just to double check. Put that on the mower and let it sit with the tap in the on position for about 5 minutes. It didnt leak YAY, i run it up and cleared all the old fuel and it was running great.I turned the throttle off and let it sit and it started to flood again.
I have spent many many hours on this mower and is slowing all my other mowers down, many "f"s were thrown around.
It only leaks after its been running what the hell??
the guys at GYC suggested that i bend the float so that it closes earlier, now thats fair enough but why only when its run up?
Thanks so much i really need to get rid of this mower and never see it again!

The G4 carby is prone to leak if you leave the fuel tap on for any extended period of time. As to GYC telling you to bend the float that would not have been a mechanic but a salesman.

Note that you can buy two types of needles for the G4 carby and one is shorter than the other. I would suggest that you have a look at the online store for more information on the needle. cheers2
