We all love to learn new things and tinker here; we also like to see 'before and after' pics of our members projects.
Now to your questions, Re: stickers and decals for your Model 45.... Unfortunately, Scott Bonnar were taken over by Rover Australia many years ago, and they have recently been taken over by a conglomerate themselves. No stickers exist.
To my knowledge, no one is (at present) manufacturing original Scott Bonnar decals or stickers. To make it even more difficult, the Model 45 has 2 different designs. The early design is shown here in a restoration by one of our forum members, deviosi; click
HEREThe later design is in the style of a shield. We are at present trying to put together a series of templates of original stickers, that can be replicated by Rustic Spares and will be sold through the forum online store.
Now to your Model 17 Supercut. It would have been built in Adelaide, as the Model 17 was first manufactured in 1950. They came in 2 widths of cut; a 14" and a 16" and later as a 18" machine.... both in petrol and 240V electric.
Most of the early machines had 147cc Mark 25C Villiers petrol engines fitted, so yours, with a BSA engine may be a rarer mower.
The Model 17 Supercut was the Rolls-Royce of mowers in its day, many were built, and are still in use today which is a credit to the design team and Scott Bonnar generally.
