To get you started with site navigation, if you can see the toolbar above that contains the portal page, forum list etc...at the extreme right hand side you will see a tab:
FAQ Click on that, and you will find a lot of the answers that you are looking for. Any questions that you have after having read that, just post them, and we will do our best to help you.
