I'm also wandering what is an ideal motor to power this, i was thinking of a dual power system ie petrol and electric, i have a 5hp 3 phase motor, and a 1986 victa power torque 2 stroke engine (160cc), will these be sufficient power for it? also i want to have a shredder built in it so i don't know if a cutting disc is good enough or if i need to make a flail design attatched to the chipping disc shaft.

Thanks

In order to chip that size the engine size that you quoted would not have enough power. I will forward you a parts list that might help with the design. cheers2
