I would like to explore the viability of using a P.T rod in my old VC160 engine.
If one of you happens to have "on the shelf" access to an old P.T rod and big end bearing, I wonder if you would kindly measure and advise a couple of sizes for me?
1. Big end bearing inside diameter? ........... it must suit my my crank pin whose OD is 0.775 inches
2. Big bearing width (or conrod width)? ............ it be the same as my bearing width which is 0.500 inches so that the PT conrod fits between the crankshaft lobes and its thrust washers
ALTERNATIVELY, if anyone has an old P.T engine rod and bearing for sale or for giveaway, I'd be very pleased to receive it. Naturally, postage costs would be borne by me.
