Greetings from NZ. I have a Scott Bonnar Supercut, and I have removed the reel and bottom blade to take in to get sharpened.
The last time I had it done, the chap said he likes to put a small 5 degree angle on the reel to give it a keener cutting edge, but in the owners handbook, it says that the blade should be ground squarely, so that it can be put in the other way around to give a fresh sharp blade when the first dulls. The blade carrier has been made reversible for that purpose.

What is the opinion of the team please?
Thank you,

Ray
