I might see what's around and try make one. So to secure it, does it need to be press-fit or just 5/32 and held in with fuel-resistant threadlocker / gasket maker?
That looks like the kit I got but the welch plugs in it are much too large for the hole. The smaller plug is about 6.5mm in diameter. I could probably modify one of those plugs, not sure how important it is to have a top that sits flush with the base of the carb (like your one).
Thanks for the suggestion on the points. Wondering, do the points come from a powertorque mower?
