I think the lpg converters are about $70 now but I never need to buy LPG so you probably save $70. in 4 years compared to using petrol , just depends how much grass you cut each year.
I also wanted a mower I could put in the boot of the car on a hot day and not stink the car out with petrol fumes.
Never have to pull the carby down to clean it because I've left old fuel in the mower.
