A long time ago I was using a Tiger 16 inch mower to cut a large lawn on a slope as the 16 inch mower was nice and light ,
it was used for at least 3 years then I sold the mower and the next guy used the mower for a couple years then sold it on then
I know the next owner used the mower for at least another 3 years. That's why I don't say these 16 inch mowers only suit a small
yard.I have heard a lot of people say a chonda only lasts 3 years but they seem to last a lot longer if you keep the filter clean,
change the oil and keep the blades sharp but some models are better than others.
The Sanli motors last a long time when looked after and I think you shouldn't have any problem Norm getting $70. ,it just takes
a fair while to sell a cheaply priced mower these days.
Yes you can definitely get some idiots sometimes ,if they make a stupid offer I just block them and you can block them
in your email address that stops Gumtree messaging, Most times when I get a low offer on a cheaply priced mower ,I just
say, the mower I am giving away for free and are only charging $70 for the service and if they go to a mower shop the service
is over $100. and then say the last mower I serviced the same as this I sold for $100. but have put this down to $70.
A lot of people say after I won't reduce the price ,I had to ask ,meaning if your stupid enough to give them a discount
they are happy to pay less even though they know the mower is cheap to start with. They always pay the $70.
Yes it wasn't worth me selling 2 strokes as a lot of people don't want to pay $50. and offer $25.
Mowers are just a hobby ,you can't make much from them, you can cut fire wood and make a minimum of a $1000. in 7 days.
