It sure is Norm, I had 2 perfect seventies Rover Mowers and 2 perfect seventies Scott Bonnar Mowers all with
Briggs 3.5 Hp motors ,I had paid $10. each for them and then had converted them to electronic ignition and it
was sell for $20. or sell the alloy bases in scrap but at that price I didn't put new oil in them, one Scott Bonnar
I gave away for free.

Any Victa 2 stroke late model serviced with alloy base and catcher I would only get $50. and then the first thing
the scumtree buyer does is to complain that the mower has a 2 blade plate instead of a 4 and wants the mower for $40.
so that's why I don't sell 2 strokes and gave away my good metal bases and sell the alloy ones in scrap.

I've also tried to sell good alloy mowers missing an engine for $5. but no interest so just scrap them.

At $50. for a good running mower, I won't put new oil in for that price as it costs minimum $40. to pay someone
to cut a small amount of grass so if you're the buyer you only need to use the mower once to get your money's worth.

I see a lot of mowers advertised for $200. but I'd be lucky to get $20. for the same mower so I just scrap the alloy base.

Cheers
Max.
