Hi Graham,and a big warm welcome to the forum. I bought a Mac 17 in the late 80's, it was a great little light weight trimmer; very reliable, until I (stupidly) lent it to my brother-in-law who used the wrong fuel/oil mix and ruined the engine Best of luck with the parts and I hope she's running sweetly for you soon!!
