Firstly, Hi Guys...new to the forum, but joined for a very specific reason..

Hope you dont mind me asking questions first time out, but I have a problem that has plagued me for almost 10 years now.....yeah, I like to persist...

But anyhow....roughly 10 years ago, I purchased a McCulloch FR 48" line Trimmer...This was some You Beaut limited model or something...bright yellow In colour, and quite expensive.
This was a factory Refurbished model, with a large 45cc high powered engine...and honestly, It really screamed...

The problem was, after only 5 or 6 uses, the pullcord snapped, so I thought No problem, simple replacement....

How wrong I was...

Almost 10 years ago, I totally stripped this line trimmer down, and upon Inspection, of the centrifugal clutch, I have absolutely NO IDEA, how to remove It, so as I can then remove the plastic housing, and get to the rope pulley.

Over the years...at least 20 others have looked and also have had no Idea...

I surmise, that the centrifugal clutch Is a single unit, and possibly screws onto the shaft, however, there Is no space behind, and nothing to be seen to lock onto....and no way to clamp without damaging the outer housing

There are no screws In the end, where the cable plugs In, although I can see some slight movement.....It looks more like a rivet, that holds the clutch housing...not a screw.

I cannot see any small holes for a push pin, or anything....so basically I am flummoxed...

I dunno If I have explained this very well...but hopefully someone here has seen this before, and knows how to remove the whole clutch.....as I would certainly like to get this going...

Seriously.....this has stumped many a person that I have asked...

Thankyou......and I hope someone has the answer....as I can then chase up some Gasket kits and reassemble...

I hate letting things beat me...lol

Cheers

EDIT:
Read a few posts and DONE......I cant believe It....had a set of torx drivers, and practically fell off...

CHEERS GUYS
