The only other piece of information I have for Victoria not selling the model one is that people always said Victa sold more mowers per year than all the other competitors put together and I thought that would equate to at least 10,000 mowers in 6 months.
The receipt below is 15/9/56 at number 38,952 ,so my 2,000 sold per week may be little on the conservative side.
If i round off to 39,000 divided by 17 months this equals 2294 per month.
I realize this isn't exact as Victa may have sold more mowers in later months than earlier months but just thought I would share what is believed by some Victorian Victa people until proven otherwise.
Always good to hear any more info though to get a more accurate understanding as I know it's difficult to prove one way or the other .
