Hey Max, I didn't quite understand what you meant when you said to click the link and go to page 1. Well I just finihed reading the 6 pages. WOW, what a great read and almost a cliff hanger waiting for some magical box of original documents that explained all and everything to do with victa identification especially these early models. But I guess the nice thing is 8 out of 10 people could tell you that your mower isn't right because of a star instead of a moon on a logo but if "you believe that your mower is a certain model then it is"! why? Because there are no official documents, anyone who was working for victa at the start probably isn't alive or even able to help with information. So if someone wants to point out the tiniest reason why your mower isn't the model you have restored it as or say it is. Feel sorry for them, seriously they are looking at life through a very narrow and negative way. Or they just want to feel like they are the only one with a perfect matching everything mower.
At the end of the day we love these older mowers and other older nicnaks but they are just stuff and maybe some can't be replaced these days but they can be reproduced. So many things in life are more important then just stuff....... Granted that I have no GF no children or dependents and live alone (happily) so I have the extra $$$, the extra room, only 1 mouth to feed and get to do whatever I want or choose to do.
