I know pretty much everything I do is not worth the effort but I still do it. I throw the 4 strokes out as well but I have probably only thrown out half a dozen 2 strokes over the years and that was because they had been out in the weather for years and all rusted up solid. I strip any parts I might be able to use before dumping them
