Yes It's definitely a 1972 model going by the engine number Tim. I've a few of this type of mower ,a few green models that are the Special and at least one orange Victa Professional. The Chevy Orange is a good off the shelf colour paint match for the base and cowl ,this paint doesn't require a primer and won't wash off if you spill fuel on the paint. Cheers Max.
