Hi MF ,that Makita 2 stroke is not mine it's one from a facebook group,so not sure if it uses the long or short shaft motor.

The Makita mower looks like an 18 inch base ,I don't think the Powertorque would fit a 16 inch Makita base.

Now that Sunbeam looks too good to cut your grass with ,good buy for someone.
