I took the carb and muffler off, cleaned them, took flywheel off sanded coil and flywheel so surfaces were free of rust.. good spark and compression so I put it together, no decompressor. I sprayed penetrating fluid in plug hole toloosen up things. Bodgied up a fuel tank so I could see things. Had to fix the pull starter. It fired 2nd or 3rd pull...... let it run slowly for a start , then mowed the backyard, not much grass in Bundy as we are still in drought....
The height adjuster is rusted so put penetrating fluid on that as well. I don't know if drive gear and gearbox is ok, so will just use it as a push mower.. for a while.cheers
