Hello
ODK Showcase lovers
This
Showcase pays tribute to one of the seminal but small
players in post-war lawnmower history –
Precision Mowers of
Mt Alexander Road, Essendon, Melbourne.
Precision Mowers played a part in the
Golden Era of lawnmower
production; when a number of ‘small players’ could have a go at
making power lawnmowers post WWII.
Precision started with
converting ‘pushies’ to petrol, but later
designed and made their own little rotary mower.
The thing that makes this story remarkable is that the family
has become involved, with sincere thanks to
ODK member
Claude.
