Yes I conside Honda a bastard of a manufacturer, sure the can build good motors but it is the dumbness of thing they do to bolt on components to their motors, just dumb stuff I hate working on their equipment

Thanks to Mice_Elf, for showing me how to attach a picture of the deck on the Victa Mower I'm having trouble getting belts for.

I have attached 2 pictures and hope I have not stuffed that up..

As you can see Bruce my deck, picture 1, has an extra pulley at the rear that is not shown in the Deck Manual you gratefully provide here.
Again, ignore my attempt to refit the old spare worn out belt.

I spoke to one of the senior mechanics at my local mower shop and he has suggested I had fitted the belt wrong in this attached photo.
That's why it's way too long to fit the mower.

So the 2nd picture I have shared is what I'm hoping to be the correct belt layout.

The old spare belt that was also worn out will be the test, then I just have to find a replacement at the same length of around 3080mm OD

Time will tell..
