Currently I have this solid looking Victa alloy-base rolling chassis which was powered by a Tecumseh Ultima 207cc,turns over but not running, probably not worth even buying a coil to try and get running, which im thinking of removing, selling separately and re-powering chassis with another motor I have.

Ive got a 3.75 BS, which came off an alloy-base Masport.Good runner.
Ive read maybe on an ebay mower-parts seller page, that B&S for Victa have a different shaft-reach than for other brands like Rover/Masport/.

Will my ex-masport B&S not be right model and shaft-length for the Victa body?

There's a rundown on shaft length variation between mower manufacturers in this thread, https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=22954

Short answer, yes Victa use a shorter shaft than Masport, but it's easily got around with spacers on the mounting bolts.
