			<description><![CDATA[Hello <span style="font-weight: bold">ODK </span>history lovers<br>The <span style="font-weight: bold">Rover Heavy Duty</span> slasher mower was a great <br>success story for <span style="font-weight: bold">Rover Mowers</span> of <span style="font-weight: bold">Eagle Farm, Brisbane</span>. <br>Its production life spanned three decades!<br><br>These digital images present the <span style="font-weight: bold">HD25</span> as used by Australia <br>in the <span style="font-weight: bold">Vietnam War.</span><br><br><span style="font-weight: bold">Why did the AUS military use the HD25? </span><br>I guess the obvious reasons were:<br>-	Australian made<br>-	Cost effective<br>-	Simple, rugged design<br>-	Field repairable<br><br>These five images held by the <span style="font-weight: bold">Australian War Memorial</span> <span style="font-style: italic">Photograph Collection </span><br>depict the HD25 under extreme conditions and in repair in the 1960s and early 1970s.<br><br>It's a pleasure to brings these images to a broader audience.<br><br>]]></description>
