Hello, I have two Victa's but not sure what model. The first one has the number 1 64254 stamped onto the engine casing and is a two stroker. The second one is a later version with an alloy skirt with the number 6 6803198. I have cannabalised the first to rebuild the second, however the second one i am working on has a missing inlet piece to the carb and I can't figure out how to replace it. At the moment the carb has a hole where the fuel enters with the float shut-off valve protruding through. I have tried to fashion a piece to fit and connected the fuel pipe to it, but it hasn't been successful. Do you know what this piece looks like? Can I get a part here in WA? Thanks for the info and a very interesting website. Cheers, Mike F

Hello Victa Man, Thank you for the carby info, it was exactly what I was looking for. The information you supplied identified the older Victa as a 160cc 3Q and the later one as a 68/69 G2. The part is clearly indicated in Fig. 12 part 11. I will be scrappng the 160cc, if anyone wants the parts for free, crank, casings, carb, housing etc and is willing to pay the shipping they are welcome to it. I can also give them some digital pix. before they consider. Thanx again for your help, do you know if there is anyone here in WA who can supply part 11?? Cheers, MikeF

MikeF, You can go to http://www.victa.com.au and they have a listing of dealers all over Australia that might be able to help or go to http://www.msaa.com.au as they have the same type of listing. Hi Victa Man, Thank you for the website. I contacted Small Motors in Morley WA and spoke to Corry. Indeed he did have the part i was looking for...a small brass fitting. I have fitted it and started the G2 up. Initially she wouldn't fire up as the spark was fouled with oil (I did put some motor oil in the sump), however i wasn't sure if it was a dry sump or not, but a bit of oil shouldn't hurt...I guess. Anyway, once I cleand up the plug she went like the wind! I also lowered the head a bit with thinner base and top gaskets,,,,it reminded me of my old Suzuki TM 125. Thank you once again for your great help and for keeping another Victa 'old timer' on the lawn. Cheers, MikeF P.S: A new paint job is on the way, maintaining the old BP stickers.
