I've just got a Victa lawn mower that needs some 'tuning'. I had it running yesterday but not very well. It seemed to be chocking out and the plug was very black. Also, fuel was pouring out of the priming bulb thing on the side of the carby (A plastic carby!!!) I think I need a new plate...any idea of the cost of those things?
Who is a good supplier in Adelaide?
I managed to get a number off the engine 402001896
Could anyone tell me the year and cc.

In answer to your question regarding the primer cap you can buy them HERE usually cheaper than in the shops even when you include postage. As to your supplier in SA you should be able to get it at any mower shop.
The year would be in the 90's because the power torque engine started coming out in the early 80's with the black plastic carby.
